How this works

Fast, clear, no games.

Four steps from tap-to-apply to first day on the job. If we can't move you forward, you'll hear that too — usually within one business day.

  1. 01

    Two-minute form

Name, contact, role, territory, and a short note on your background. That's it.

  2. 02

    Written role brief

If the profile fits, we send the specific employer's name, pay band, and territory in writing — before any call.

  3. 03

    Recruiter call

A 20-minute scheduled call by phone or video. No group chats, no anonymous DMs, no cash upfront.

  4. 04

    Hiring manager interview

You meet the actual hiring manager at the employer. Offer, background check, and W-9 or I-9 happen through the employer directly.

What a real solar job never asks you to do.

Recruitment scams in the solar space are common. Use this list to sanity-check any offer — including anything that comes out of this application.

✕ Never pay to work

You should never pay for “training”, “equipment deposits”, cryptocurrency, or gift cards to start a job. If asked, walk away and report it to the FTC.

✕ Never interview only over chat

A real hiring process includes a phone or video call with a person who gives you the employer's legal name, EIN or state entity number, and a written offer letter you can verify with the Secretary of State.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Which company am I actually applying to?

You're applying to Bryan Palmer, an independent recruiter — not directly to a specific solar company. If your profile fits, Mia sends a written brief naming the actual employer, their state entity number, and the specific role before any interview is scheduled. You can verify the employer independently on the state's Secretary of State business search before you agree to talk.

Is this W-2 or 1099?

Project manager roles are W-2. Sales roles vary by employer — some are W-2 with base plus commission, others are 1099 with commission-only or draw structures. The role brief will say clearly which one applies.

Do I need solar experience?

Where are the jobs located?

Most openings are in California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and the Northeast, but we hire across the continental U.S. You'll tell us your state on the form and we'll only send you role briefs that match.

What if a recruiter asks me for money or bank info upfront?

Do not send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or bank credentials to anyone during the hiring process — including anyone claiming to be from this page. Legitimate employers pay you, not the other way around. If this happens, walk away and report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
